Show and Tell Friday (8/24)

Welcome to "Show and Tell Friday!" Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!
Boy....time sure does fly! I can't believe I missed last week's show and tell. It took me a while to think about what I wanted to show today, but I think I finally came up with something. Now..this images where scanned almost a year ago. I found these at a yard sale 1 1/2 years ago. They are made out of what appears to be size 3 thread. They are not dishcloths, but are not heavy enough for potholders. So...what do you all think? Do you think they are just for decoration or are they used for something else?

Hmmm... you could make a tiny clotheline to display them. Other than that, I don't know what they would be for.

I think they are just vintage pot holders... probably for decoration.

They are very pretty.

I'm not sure what they would be used for either....other than dressing up a pretty doll or a decoration?????

I don't know. There are cute though!

I notice they have little loop hooks for hanging, so I would guess they are decoration...not knowing what size they are, if the dress were big enough, it could be a cozy for a teapot.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. Wow, another person with Israeli coke bottles! I wonder how many others are out there in the world these days....

I assume they are not just doll clothes. I don't know other than that. The first thing I thought of was that I have seen a little dress like that on top of a toilet paper roll at an older couple's home.

Thanks for stopping by my place today.

What about Christmas ornaments.

They are precious - could you hang them from one of those shelves that have pegs below??

I noticed the little loops too---I bet they are decorations--I am glad you played this week--I wondered where you were last Friday:)

They are so cute! I'm not sure what they are though...

My MIL made my twin girls dresses just like that for them to wear when they were babies... I still have them!

Those are actually vintage dishcloths or potholders. They are used for decoration now. They look VERY similar to the ones I have on my website. :)
