Candle By Night

Oh my! What a day I had yesterday. It started out simply...I was finishing up some loads of laundry I didn't get done the previous day and then it went crazy from there. My wonderful MIL called me and asked if they (My FIL and herself) could come over in the afternoon to take the children and I for ice cream. Well..I had a ton of cleaning to do, so I started racing around to get that done. Then I walked outside and got the surprise of my life. But before I get to that I need to give some "background." There have been a couple of cats around our house and in our yard. They seem to roam the neighbor hood and we have been "fighting" to keep them out. Well, they have even had a couple of fights in our backyard (not good when my children love to be outside) and one of the fights left substantial fur in our backyard. And I do mean that they left a large amount behind. Well Shad seemed to be healed up from his little surgery last week so we decided to leave him out ov...

Kelli started up a thing called Show and Tell Friday. Last week I showed a picture of some painting my hubby and I did. This week I am going to share a couple of photos of Big T and dogs. The first one is of Big T when he was about 8 or 9 months old and our dog Shad. (Shad is only a few months old in this picture). The second pic is one of my favorites. It is of Big T when he was just shy of being 2 and my Mom's dog, Daisy. I love how bright the grass is. I have been meaning to make an 8x10 out of it to hang on the wall. This is a great reminder for me to do that. ;)

For those of you who do not know...Shad is our dog. His name is short for Shadrach and he is a mix between Australian Shepherd and a Black lab. This was so funny I just had to share it. Hubby was very happy to discover this....it meant he didn't have to do as much work. Check out the video. Hope this works! =)
