Smart Habits Saturday (6/23)

A few weeks ago I hurt my back and this past week I had to deal with what I am assuming is a bug bite that caused me swelling and redness down my arm. At least my ironing got done, but only because a wonderful young lady from church came to help me one day. And..praise the Lord...I will be having help regularly every week too so I should be able to start to get "a hold" on things better. This week I am going to add the task of planning my meals weekly. So...on Sunday I will do my best to plan my meals for the week. Wish me luck! Make Bed - Still needs improvement Wash the Sheets - Doing very well! Please don't forget to link back to this post so your readers can find out more about SHS." -Lara Well not doing great on my newest habit (15 minute clean), but I had a problem with my back and arm a couple of days this week. No excuse though. I WILL do better next week. Still not doing well with making the bed either, BUT I am doing very well on washing the sheets every week. I washed them yesterday and hung them on the line to dry. Nothing like the smell of sheets dried by the sun! :) I think there was only a couple of days where I forgot to floss my teeth, so I am doing well with that too. This week I am going to add my ironing. Since I had Little E I haven't done well with getting my ironing done. So...my goal is to get my ironing done 2 days after washing the laundry. (I will eventually move it up to doing it the next day). So...now I am off to star...

That makes it so much easier for me and I'm all about my life being easier! " -Lara Well, last week I couldn't do a whole lot. I hurt myself pretty bad. I am still sore, but a lot better than last week. =) Well let's see, I have done very well with flossing my teeth and pretty good at washing my sheets. As for making the bed everyday, I am failing miserably at that. So besides needing to improve on that once again I am going to add 15 minute clean times for 3 days a week. I know it should happen everyday, but I need to start somewhere. Maybe this will help keep things from piling up around the house. That is my "...

" -Lara Sorry to say I have to make this quick as I am in a lot of pain right now, but I wanted to let you all know that I am not adding to my list but will continue to work on making the bed everyday, washing the sheets every week, and flossing everyday. I will explain more about my "pain" later. :)

Well...I still need a lot of help on making the bed everyday, but at least I am on the ball for washing the sheets. I washed the sheets earlier in the week since there was a chance of rain today and yesterday I went to a lot of yard sales. My new "habit" I hope to form is to floss my teeth everyday. Some times I do really well at this and other times it will be a week before I realize that I have done that. So wish me luck on my ol...

I don't know what it was, but I wasn't even close to making it a habit for the week. But I am going to work on it this week AND my next "habit" I want to have is to wash the sheets once a week. I know most of you are probably thinking that washing the sheets once a week is a given, but not in my house. That is just something I can't seem to remember to do. (Which isn't really gross since we shower before bed.) ...

(Are you wondering what SMART Habits Saturday is? Just check it out here . I have been looking at Lara's website for a long time and finally decided to join in on this. ) Okay...I have been wanting to be a part of this for a long time. I finally decided...I just need to start. There are so many things I need to work on, but I am going to work on making our bed every morning. I did well at this for about a month (6 months ago, but have failed.) So I will start to make it a habit today! Wish Me luck......as I start my journey with my SMART Habits Saturday with you all. :) (I am just going to start with this one and add on each Saturday.)
