My Birthday Boy

Oh my, he is growing up way too fast. It's hard to believe that it has been three years already. Little E is changing so much. Just check out this picture of my handsome little man. :-D And what kind of cake did this little man want? A Hirehighter cake (translation-- a Firefighter cake) He has a hard time making the "F" sound. What did I get myself into? Here is the cake half done and a picture of the mess in my kitchen. And that wasn't even half of it! ;-D Oh...and a little side note. Christmas Red icing color does not make it red, but HOT PINK! I had to make a quick run to the store for Red Red coloring. Go figure. After baking 2 cakes (because the first one wasn't good), 4 batches of icing, and a double batch of crispie treats I finally finished. But it was all worth it. He loved the finished product. He needed a little help blowing out his candles. I think he enjoyed his birthday. :-D Next up on the birthday list? Beloved and then Sweet E. I better get to plan...

Happy Birthday Little E!

I can't believe he is 3 already! Time has gone by way too fast. I spent most of the day yesterday prepping and baking his cake. Last night all three of the older children had fevers. I pray that when they wake up the fevers will have left. :-) Anyway, I just had to share some pictures of my little guy. I am so blessed to be his Mama. ;-D I don't have his 3rd birthday photo yet, but I hope to do that later today as long as he is feeling alright. :-D

Nope...

still no baby. Thought I better let everyone know. Little E had a nasty spill yesterday. This is what he looked like about 4 hours after it happened. He took such a nasty fall...it was just as hard on Mama as it was on him. This is what he looks like today. The swelling is almost gone, but now scabs have formed on his upper lip and nose. He also has a large knot and a cut on the back of his head. The under side of his upper lip is black and as the day has progressed......the bruises are showing up more and more. Well...that is all for now. I have leaves to rake and soccer in a couple of hours.

The Birthday Boy!

It is so hard to believe he turned two. It is absolutely amazing how fast children grow up. His day started out by enjoying yummy M & M pancakes on the special birthday plate. :-) My Dad was able to make it up for a visit on Saturday. So the children had a lot of fun playing with Papaw. We had homemade pizza, salad, and fruit punch for lunch before enjoying Little E's yummy rice crispie cakes. :-) I was just going to make an airplane cake, but he enjoys trains a lot to...so I decided to do both. :-) Then it was time to open presents from Grandma and Papaw. He got some clothing and a book. He had Papaw read the book to him right then and there. LOL :-) After all the presents were open it was time to play and even Papaw got in on the action. Little E had such an exciting day that he decided it was time to take a rest. :-D Little E....you are such a blessing to our family. I am privileged to be your Mama. May God bless you as you grow up and may you be a mighty man of God.

It's So....

strange how people can look so different in pictures. I love taking pictures of Little E. He is just so adorable! I can't get enough. But after these pictures were taken and downloaded we couldn't believe how different he looked in these. And yes, he is in a diaper and cowboy boots. :-)

So Much....

Cuteness! I just cant' take it. After breakfast this morning I caught Little E looking pretty cozy. :-)

Pizza, Pizza!

I don't know....what do you all think? Does Little E like his pizza? ;-)

Note to Self....

Don't leave the door to the dryer open. ;o) It's obviously a No-no, but it was so cute we had to snap a pic first.

Cracker...well, sort of ;o)

First Haircut

Image
We may all still be sick, but last night was one to remember. I wanted to do something other than think about the family being ill. So, I decided it was time for Little E's first haircut. Now...from the front it didn't really look like he needed one. But as my sister's boyfriend says, "He looks like a miniature Terry Bradshaw." (because all is blond hair was around the back of his head.) Anyway, I wanted to share some pics of the little guys first haircut. :D He is such a cutie pie. ;) And while I am at it I just wanted to share some more cuteness. :D

(This is the outfit I made for his birthday. The shirt is RTW, ready-to-wear, with an appliqué on the front and back. I made the pants and added the patch to the front and the E on the back.)

Happy Birthday Little E!
