Show and Tell Friday



Yes, it is already Friday and of course that means it is time for show and tell. Last night I was thinking about what I would show today and decided on this. It is a pencil drawing my wonderful Hubby made me for my birthday one year and then added some Bible verses to it. I love my Hubby's drawings, I wish he would draw some more for me. =) Hint, Hint ;) Sorry for the glare. It is from the flash and the drawing is in a frame. It is a drawing of the woman who just wanted to touch Jesus. I think it's beautiful.

They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. Last Saturday I had the chance to do something I had never done before. I put together a gingerbread house with my MIL and my children. My MIL made the gingerbread and then she had me help her assemble it and then decorate it. We didn't finish it all, but we hope to finish it this afternoon since she has the day off. I am pretty proud of myself. Next year maybe the children and I can do this as a school project/activity. So...here is the gingerbread house in all it's glory. I hope to post a finished

Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before.
