Show and Tell Friday

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!" Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!

I love doing this! Today I am showing off the first strawberry from my garden. Granted when I purchased the plant it had one berry on it already. Hubby and I shared it....it was sooooo good! ;) And the other picture is of a punch bowl set I purchased at the yard sales (for 4 dollars....it came with 12 cups) last weekend for Sweet E's Hope Chest. Her hope chest is pretty full already. Now I am off to look at other people's show and tells.

Oh, that looks so good. I am off to the grocery store in a few minutes to buy some of my own. Maybe I'll make strawberry shortcake for dessert tonight.

Thanks for stopping by my show and tell today. Don't you love show and tell?

By the way, there is a wonderful book called "The Big Hungry Bear" that we used to read over and over again to our kids when they were young. It is the cutest picture book. It is about a strawberry, a mouse, and a Big Hungry Bear. Absolutely adorable. I think it is written by Don and Audrey Woods if I am not mistaken. Worth a trip to the library, or Barnes and Noble :) Enjoy!
