Well, today I was going to share something special with all of you. What is that you might ask? Why, it's Sweet E's "purpose" of course! See...here is a picture of her purpose.

Still don't believe me? I guess I will just have to show you a video of her talking about her "purpose" then. =) So here you go.


I have told her it is a purse...and she even repeats it. But, when she talks about it she refers to it as her "purpose". I thought it was pretty funny. Blessings to all on this Glorious Friday that the Lord has given us.

Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better! When we went to the Fall Festival a couple of weeks ago Hubby bought the children wooden swords. They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better! Today I am taking part in Kelli's Show and Tell and her Giving Thanks week. Last Saturday I had the chance to do something I had never done before. I put together a gingerbread house with my MIL and my children. My MIL made the gingerbread and then she had me help her assemble it and then decorate it. We didn't finish it all, but we hope to finish it this afternoon since she has the day off. I am pretty proud of myself. Next year maybe the children and I can do this as a school project/activity. So...here is the gingerbread house in all it's glory. I hope to post a finished

Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before. We are thinking they may possibly be wild strawberries, but are unsure since we have no prior experience with them. (really have no clue as to what they actually are.)
