Show and Tell Friday

"Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!" Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!

For my show and tell today I thought I would show my garden to everyone. At least what I have accomplished so far. You can see from this post the start of my garden. Well, they are ready to be planted in! On Monday we went up to my BIL and picked up some posts and some composted manure. The posts don't look the greatest, but they are sturdy. They are hardwood posts that Kokosing Construction used to ship things from job sites and such. Hubby cut the posts and set them into place. Once that was done Big T helped to unload the composted manure into the garden for me. See....

After all the help from Big T and Hubby this is what I ended up with.

The small square is from the scraps that Hubby had from cutting some of the posts for the beds. I haven't decided on what to put there yet. I was thinking strawberries or rhubarb...not sure. Will have to think about that though. I am hoping to get outside today to break the dirt up a little more. It is pretty much ready to plant for the exception of a few clods. I picked up some plants from Mrs. M last night. I have 3 (maybe 4) mortgage lifter tomato plants, some lettuce, and some cabbage. I can't wait! I hope to get to the greenhouse sometime to to pick up a few more items. I love stuff from the garden.

Here are a couple of other pictures I wanted to show. Hubby brought me home some lovely "flowers" the other day. They smell wonderful!
And last but not least...some pictures of Little E. Isn't he adorable!

Good morning! Your garden will be lovely I'm sure! Be sure to keep us updated on how your garden grows!!

Big T is learning to be a godly man by working so hard! Isn't it neat how at that age it's all just fun to them!

Now on to that baby! I wanted to reach through this monitor and pinch his shiny, chubby cheeks! God love 'em!

Your gardens look great, such rich looking soil!! The fun part is always deciding what to plant, I like the sounds of rhubarb and strawberries. :0) Your son is such a big helper with his little wheelbarrow...so cute and little E looks like such a happy, snuggly baby! I want to squeeze his little cheeks!!

Dearest Melanie, Darling,

How beautiful!!! I hope you can get your stuff planted soon. And Elijah is looking particular scrumptious. I just love kissing cheeks! I got to love on Lizzy last night, but I missed Elijah. And Titus was never in my reach long enough. LOL! I hope that poor tomato plant makes it. Sorry I broke it like that. :-(

In Christ,

Ginny (formerly known as "Mrs. M.")

Looks like you had a good little helper there.

I shared pictures of the flowerbeds all around our home this time.
