Asking for Prayer

I am asking all of you to keep me in your prayers. Over the past few months I have been dealing with anger and I know what it is coming from. Since my blessed Little E was born I have not spent enough time in God's word and it is showing. So I am asking for prayer that I would be able to control my anger and be able to get more out of God's word than I am at present. So I wanted to publicly apologize to my children for being an angry mother....which is not what God intended. I need to be joyous in my work. It's not just doing the dishes....or washing the laundry. I am raising three children for the kingdom of our Lord and washing laundry is just a daily task that I have the privilege of doing for them.

I just said a prayer for you and for myself. I think we all have times like this when we need to reflect on our short comings. Confessing them and getting our priorities back in order are two necessary actions. I'm thankful you shared this as it caused me to examine my ownself more closely this afternoon. Blessings!

I will pray for you, my dear friend. This is a major struggle of mine as well. Although mine seems to come when I am in the Bible more. Satan attacks me the closer I get to the Lord. I hate it. I hate having anger in my heart. I hate it when I start yelling and carrying on. I need more of the Holy Spirit's self-control in my life. I will definately be praying for you because I KNOW how much of a challenge this is to keep under control. Thank you for sharing this personal side of you.

I would be glad to pray. My children received many apologies from me when they were little.

I will keep you in my prayers. I have struggled with the same problem before so I understand.
I was just reminded of a book that helped me many years ago. It's called "Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit" by Teri Maxwell. Here is a link...

It has been 10 days since you posted this...how's getting back in the Word going? How are you doing with your anger? Any updates?
