Nope...Not yet

As you can tell...I haven't had the baby yet. Just still waiting around. I think this is the biggest I have been out of my 3 pregnancies. Although I never really got "huge." I have such a long torso that I don't really show all that much until right before the baby is born. Hubby wanted a picture of my belly the other night...so I let him. I don't think I got a belly shot with DD. I think I did with DS, but have no idea where it is.

It's just a waiting game. As it usually is with my pregnancies. That's okay I guess. I just pray when it is time the roads won't be icy so the midwife can make it here safely and on time!

I have also been asked about the progress of my son's blanket. Well.. Here is a picture taken today. I have 77 rows done. 93 rows left to do. I couldn't figure out why the pictures were kind of hazy when I downloaded them all from the camera. Come to find out there was a nice "fingerprint" on the lense. I think one of the children must have touched in when hubby had it out the other night. Oh well. Just need to clean it off. I just wanted to do a quick post. I think my children are in need of some "guidance" right now. Don't worry Mrs. M....I will post when labor begins. You will all know...I promise. ;)

Melanie, how are you making that blanket? Is it knitted? Is that a picture of a horse?

Yes...it is of a horse (He would want nothing else. ;) No it isn't knitted. It is Tunisian Crochet (or the afghan stitch) each row averages about 20-30 minutes each. So it takes a while because of all the color changes.

Wow. That blanket is really coming along nicely. I am the same way with my pregnancies (well...one pregnancy) I didn't gain any weight until the last couple of weeks. Oh, I gained some. But even at 7-8 months, no one walking down the street knew I was pregnant. Kind of nice I guess.

You look great..although through experience I know you are probably getting pretty uncomfortable. I was not as fortunate as some in the weight gain area.. I put on most of my weight in the beginning and then was actually losing in the last couple weeks...
The blanket it awesome... can't wait to see the finished product...
