Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better! When we went to the Fall Festival a couple of weeks ago Hubby bought the children wooden swords. They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. I am a day late, but I wanted to wish my Hubby a happy birthday (it was yesterday). I feel bad that I wasn't able to do much for him. I usually cook a "special" dinner and have balloons and stuff, but I didn't accomplish that this year. Oh well, I am sure he understands. ;) This Saturday there is a party at my In-laws for Hubby and DD (dd's birthday is in about 5 weeks). So my mil is making my Hubby's cake and I am making DD birthday cake. I will take a picture and try to post it for you all to see. As long as it comes out okay. ;) Well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!
