How was your holiday?

How was your Holiday? Did you stuff yourself full of God's word and not just food? I have to say that I failed in that area. We went down to my parents Wednesday night and came back last night becaue DH had to work today. It was a good visit...better than they have been in the past. The children had a lot of fun with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Sonya, and Eddie (Sonya's BF). Tomorrow we have my husband's family get together to go to. Another place to stuff ourselves! I remember before we got married we went to 3 or 4 Thanksgiving meals in one weekend! Never again!

I am slowly getting things organized in the house. When I say slowly....I mean slowly....Pregnancy and 2 children sure do slow me down. But that is okay. It is only for a season that I will have these 2 "little" ones. It seems I get one room organized...go to unpack more boxes and the "organized" room become "Disorganized". Oh well...at least I can see how many boxes I have emptied...and it has been a lot.

Well. I just wanted to check in with everyone. I need to get back to making dinner! May you all have a God filled weekend!

Glad you had a good holiday. We did too. LIke you, I was unable to stuff myself on God's Word. I missed it terribly. Hope all is going well with your settling in.

Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before. Last week he attended Bible school and Grandma S' church. The theme was Avalanche Rance and I know there are a LOT of churches doing this one. It fit him perfectly since he has a love of horses.
