Show and Tell Friday (1/4)

Show and Tell

Wow...it has been a while since I have taken part. I don't have anything "magnificent" to show, but I thought I would share some baking the children and I have done the past month. Before Christmas the children and I tried our hand at gingerbread cookies. I have never made them before. They turned out pretty well if I say so myself! ;)

Then, we made a snowman cake for when we had friends over last week. The children had so much fun making him. Will definitely have to make another one soon!

Love 'em both!! I've never seen a 'snowflake' cake snowman before, what a unique and very cute holiday treat. I made gingerbread men cookies too this year....but I was lazy I didn't ice them, just put raisins for eyes and buttons. LOL

A fantastic Show N Tell.

Such wonderful times spent letting the children learn to bake. I think they turned out so well and I know they were extra special to them because "they" did it.

How nice that you were able to spend time with the kids baking. I think your gingerbread people look fantastic! (I have never made them before - but I do not think they would look that good:)

Your snowman cake is just too cute! Reminds me of the bunny cake we used to make when I was a kid. Love the gingers too!

As one who was never able to have children, I beg to differ with your comment. You have much in your life that is magnificent, and I say that in the kindest and most respectful way. I only wish that I could show you cookies that I had been able to make with my children.

Your cookies are GORGEOUS!!!!
