Gardens and Marshmallows

I have been meaning to blog about my gardens for a couple of weeks, but haven't had the time. Here is a picture of what my garden looked like before. You can see I was getting ready to dig out two more spots.
Here they are after having everything planted. I can't wait to harvest things from my garden again! :D
My sister and her boyfriend came for a visit last week. Here is a pic of my crew with her boyfriend. Gotta love roasted marshmallows! :D
You can see that Little E had a hard time eating marshmallows and falling in the grass. ;)

YOur garden looks fantastic. I can't wait to see it in person. :) I wish my yard were that big so I could have some produce. I think next year I will add some lettuce and maybe chard or something in places throughout the garden. This year got away from me.

They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before. We are thinking they may possibly be wild strawberries, but are unsure since we have no prior experience with them. (really have no clue as to what they actually are.) Last week he attended Bible school and Grandma S' church. The theme was Avalanche Rance and I know there are a LOT of churches doing this one. It fit him perfectly since he has a love of horses.
