Time Keeps Flying On By

Image
I can't believe that it is almost March already! Wasn't it December just last week? It wasn't?! There is just so much going on it is hard to keep track of the date. :-D Is Special K really big enough to be sitting in this already? I have been enjoying the chance to watch the children and Beloved interact with one another. Sweet E looks worried in this picture, but... She was actually laughing. I think she was getting a good tickle session from Papa. :-) Then Little E wanted to be Papa. So he got to wear Papa's tie and dress shoes. He thought it was great! (until he fell down because the shoes were obviously HUGE on him) But then the boys got the chance to really dress up like Papa. I was able to purchase suits, with matching shirts and ties for the boys for my sister's upcoming wedding. (The ticker for the wedding is at the very bottom of this page.) I really dislike how the camera flash washed out their faces. :-( Oh! And the snow we had over the past few weeks has...

My Birthday Boy

Image
Oh my, he is growing up way too fast. It's hard to believe that it has been three years already. Little E is changing so much. Just check out this picture of my handsome little man. :-D And what kind of cake did this little man want? A Hirehighter cake (translation-- a Firefighter cake) He has a hard time making the "F" sound. What did I get myself into? Here is the cake half done and a picture of the mess in my kitchen. And that wasn't even half of it! ;-D Oh...and a little side note. Christmas Red icing color does not make it red, but HOT PINK! I had to make a quick run to the store for Red Red coloring. Go figure. After baking 2 cakes (because the first one wasn't good), 4 batches of icing, and a double batch of crispie treats I finally finished. But it was all worth it. He loved the finished product. He needed a little help blowing out his candles. I think he enjoyed his birthday. :-D Next up on the birthday list? Beloved and then Sweet E. I better get to plan...

Happy Birthday Little E!

I can't believe he is 3 already! Time has gone by way too fast. I spent most of the day yesterday prepping and baking his cake. Last night all three of the older children had fevers. I pray that when they wake up the fevers will have left. :-) Anyway, I just had to share some pictures of my little guy. I am so blessed to be his Mama. ;-D I don't have his 3rd birthday photo yet, but I hope to do that later today as long as he is feeling alright. :-D
