Candle By Night

I had the privilege of attending a bridal shower yesterday. I think the last time I went to one....was my own 6 years ago. Anyway, I wanted to share some pictures of the afternoon. These two pictures are of the dessert table. Doesn't it look wonderful?! Next is a picture of the Bride-to-be, her mother, and her 6 sisters. She is the 4th lady from the left. I know the pic isn't the greatest. Since they were in the shade I had to lighten the picture so you could see their faces. Here is a picture of "R" getting ready to open her gift from me. It was the best gift she got! ;o) Finally I wanted to show a short video of a family in our church. They did a wonderful job. All in all...It was a great afternoon. :D

I have been meaning to blog about my gardens for a couple of weeks, but haven't had the time. Here is a picture of what my garden looked like before. You can see I was getting ready to dig out two more spots. Here they are after having everything planted. I can't wait to harvest things from my garden again! :D My sister and her boyfriend came for a visit last week. Here is a pic of my crew with her boyfriend. Gotta love roasted marshmallows! :D You can see that Little E had a hard time eating marshmallows and falling in the grass. ;)

Boy...I sure "dropped off the face of the Earth" didn't I? I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted. We are staying busy around here as usual and I have pictures I need to download. But all of that has been put on hold because Beloved has come down with Strep. So...we are taking care of him right now. I hope to update very soon. :D

I know I haven't been around much lately, but I wanted to show a wonderful package that Anna sent me a few weeks ago. :D I was part of a "magic yarn ball" swap on her forum. So...here are some pics of what she sent. So...here is the lovely box with all the goodies. Here is what was inside....notice the yarn balls before they get unwound. :D Sweet E with her parasol. :D Little E enjoying his gifts . Here is Big T with his goodies. We took Beloved to the chiropractor yesterday to get a second opinion about his knee. The Chiropractor had some tests that he could do to see what it damaged. He is confident that Beloved's ACL is not torn, but instead his lateral meniscous. The meniscous is the cushion/padding on either side of the knee cap between the bones. He believe that it is what is damaged. It will take a long time to heal fully, but it is definitely better than the ACL being torn. And...the doctor said that if he does have to have surgery it is minor and not a big deal at all. Thank you to those that have been praying for us! We praise the Lord for this news. Hopefully I will be able to update sometime soon with some pics of the family. :D
