I haven't shared in a long time. I know...shame on me. :-) I have already shared these before with others, but I wanted to share a couple of the dresses I have made for my Sweet E. She is such a pleasure to sew for. She loves getting new dresses and I enjoy creating new things and practicing my sewing skills. :-)

This is the dress I made for her birthday. She requested pink and red...so I picked something in the middle. I have never made this dress before but love how it turned out. She has already worn it many times!


I enjoyed making this jumper as well because she can wear it during any season. :-)

I just realized I don't have a picture of her other birthday outfit. Shame on me...I will have to get a picture of that one soon. :-) Hope you enjoyed these! :-)

Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better! When we went to the Fall Festival a couple of weeks ago Hubby bought the children wooden swords. They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before. We are thinking they may possibly be wild strawberries, but are unsure since we have no prior experience with them. (really have no clue as to what they actually are.) Last week he attended Bible school and Grandma S' church. The theme was Avalanche Rance and I know there are a LOT of churches doing this one. It fit him perfectly since he has a love of horses.
