My Beloved

Look at what my wonderful Hubby did! I had a knock at the door and there was a surprise! 3 pink roses! Aren't they absolutely beautiful? And...what makes it even more special is that they were given to me "just because."

It is still hard to believe that Sweet E is now 2 years old. (let alone that Big T will soon be 4!) Here are a few pictures from our weekend. (I know...no pics of Sweet E, but I had a lot in the previous post). The first picture is of my Father with Little E sleeping. Then my sister and Little E decided to take a nap together. Aren't they cute? The last picture is of Big T playing "basegame." =) My dad and sister tried to teach him how to run bases, but he was only interested in hitting.

They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. Last Saturday I had the chance to do something I had never done before. I put together a gingerbread house with my MIL and my children. My MIL made the gingerbread and then she had me help her assemble it and then decorate it. We didn't finish it all, but we hope to finish it this afternoon since she has the day off. Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before.
