I had the privilege to review WonderMaps  by Bright Ideas (thanks to Timberdoodle ). When I heard about the product I just jumped at the chance. Our curriculum for the year requires a LOT of maps and this is perfect. We are studying different countries and cultures all year long.  So, you are probably wondering what is so special about the WonderMaps program. It's so special because you can customize it! Wow...sickness has started in our home and does not want to leave. Beloved is on antibiotics and a very strong cough syrup. Me, I just have a head cold that makes me feel like my head is going to explode! But on to a different subject. I was given the privilege to review a couple of workbooks that are offered by Timberdoodle. What? You haven't heard of Timberdoodle! Well, you are missing out for sure. We have a math curriculum that we use with Big T and Sweet E already, but it was refreshing to add in something different to the schedule. Price: $30-$50. Put out by: Exergen Corporation What is one of the first things to do when your child is sick? Take their temperature. Although with small children it can be very difficult. Forget taking a temperature orally when the children are little. There is no way they keep it in their mouth. And forget a rectal reading....NOT doing that. LOL :-D So I was so excited to have this opportunity to review the Exergen Temporal Scanner Thermometer . :-) My children absolutely love it and I do too! Here is a link to their FAQ's page . There is so much great info on their site, but I will just say again how much I like this product. Each thermometer is tested six times for accuracy before it's ever shipped out. My children sure do. A couple of weeks ago I was privileged to receive VIP coupons for General Mills cereal. For my children this is a huge treat for them as we don't normally eat cereal in the morning, but this gave me an opportunity to try something different for them. Their favorite so far is the Honey Nut Cheerios. General Mills announced a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12 to single digit grams of sugar per serving. As I pulled the book out of the package my youngest (at the time) came right over and was intrigued by the bright and colorful cover. Little E immediately asked for me to read him the book. I think I read it three times and I finally had to tell him to go and play in the leaves a little more. He didn't want to, but once I promised to read it again he finally went on to play.
