If Ever You Worshipped

I needed to hear this today. I thought I would share it with all my friends. :-) Blessings to you all.

Party!

Image
We had so much fun Friday evening at our friend's home to celebrate the graduation of their four oldest children. Yes....graduation parties are normally held in May or June, but I think they had the right idea of waiting until the busy summer season is over. Anyway, It was a lot of fun and thought I would show some pictures. I just pray that they have their power back on. It went of during the storm last week and as of Friday night they still didn't have any. I also wanted to share a video of Little E just because he is just so adorable!

Visitors.....

I miss Anna and Chloe already and they have only been gone since Friday morning. They arrived on Saturday afternoon. Sweet E and Chloe hit it off right away. They were two peas in a pod the entire week (granted...they are only a week a part in age). After they arrived we went to the park and the children had a wonderful time playing. Unfortunately, early Monday morning we had to call 911. Anna awoke to Chloe not breathing. I never imagined that I would have a policeman coming up my stairs to carry a child to the paramedics. Praise the Lord that everything looks okay and Chloe seems to be doing well. The rest of the week was wonderful and I just wanted to show various pictures from the week. Chloe in Children's Hospital after they finally took her neck brace off and allowed her to eat. The poor girl was starving. :D On Thursday was Anna's husband's birthday and he is also serving in Iraq at this time. So our family decided to take Anna and Chloe out to eat for James' bi...

Getting Ready for tomorrow

I thought I would show these videos I found. I am including two covers of the song in case someone would prefer one over the other. :D

Family Reunion

Image
Today we had a family reunion, at my BIL's farm, for Hubby's Side of the family. (It would be my FIL's side). The family name is Easterday and I think they are from Austria originally. Anyway, we had a lot of fun so I wanted to share some pictures. First of all we were all asked to wear red, white, and/or blue. I bought the children some red shirts from a thrift store and did a reverse applique on them with their Initial and age. The children love them! I love them now, but wasn't loving them last night when they were giving me a hard time. At the reunion we have a time of sharing (this year we were to share what our favorite childhood toy was...lot of votes for bikes and big Wheels and a few for Leg0s as well. We also had the officially meeting and everything. Elisabeth didn't even notice that there was a meeting going on because she was to engrossed in what a cousin had caught...a toad. :D After the meeting all the children decided to go swimming. (Beloved went s...

Do You Like to Eat?

Image
We sure do! Our town hosts the Dan Emmett Music and Arts Festival every year. It's held downtown which means we can walk there in about 20 minutes (pushing a stroller and having a 5 year old walk). It also means yummy food! The children enjoyed their hot dogs before running around the fountain and checking everything else out. :D Hubby and I shared a 2 inch pork chop! Yummy! This thing is so big it easily feeds two people. :D The All-Ohio State Fair Band was there last night as well and the children had so much fun watching them. Especially the drum majors. :D After watching the band we went to Woolson's for pony rides. This is the last year Big T can ride because he almost exceeds the weight limit now. It's their favorite thing to do when we go downtown. And I like it because it is at least a 2 minute ride for only 25 cents. Then after the rides it was time to head home. Mama and Papa were tired. ;o) (Although I had work to do.)

Do you have...

some songs that you just love to keep on repeat? Well, I have a couple and I thought I would share. The first one is "Down in the River to Pray" by Alison Krauss The second is from a Ray Boltz song. My hubby took the last part of this song and put it on a CD 99 times for me. When I am having a rough day I just put this CD in and it helps me get through the rough patch. The part that I listen to starts at 4:11 till the end of the song. It is just that....99 times on a CD. I love it. :D

Summer Fun.....more

Image
Okay...I told you I had some other pictures to share. So....here goes. We purchased a Slip-n-Slid@ for the children this past spring, but Saturday was the first time we got it out. They LOVED it. The children couldn't quite get the hang of it. After a while they were asking Beloved for help. ;o) Can you tell who the next picture is? Never mind what Sweet E is wearing. She outgrew her swim stuff from last year so, yes...I put her in some of Big T's old stuff. Little E didn't stay interested for too long. My, oh my, who is that going down the slide? Yes......it's.....Me! Never mind that I exceed the age limit by 16 years and almost 100 lbs. :o) Here I am telling Beloved, "NO", don't take my picture. I don't think he heard me.

..of photos to catch up on. I had a week's worth on the camera before Beloved finally downloaded them. So..I am going to have to show a few of what I took. Just because my children are adorable. ;o) First up, Little E discovered he has a love for suckers! Later in the week he decided he wanted to help Papa try to fix a computer. Then the next day it was time for some serious reading. Some posing for the camera... Then on Saturday it was time for our trip to the Farmer's Market for homemade doughnuts! Yum! Then after the market it was time for a walk to the park. Then it was time to go home and check on the garden Then on Sunday...after church, after a trip to the park for fellowshipping, and then riding our bikes over to Nana and Papaw's.....ice cream! And Hide and Seek with Papa...now where could Beloved be hiding? ;o) Then I just wanted to share a video Beloved took of Little E at the park. Hope you enjoy all of our pics. As I look at all of these photos and videos I am r...
