Sisterly Love

Image
I had the privilege to see my sister this past week. Granted it was only for a couple of days but at least I got to see her. :-) I picked her up late from the airport on Thursday and she got to surprise the children on Friday morning. They had no idea she was staying the night in our home. We miss her so much already. Here are a few pictures of our day with my Sissy. :-D Gotta love it! And here are some odds and ends type picture. The children thought is was great fun to throw their Aunt's money in the fountain (not mine though! LOL) And you know I just have to show some more of Special K. She is just too sweet!

Here's the Rest

Image
I know it's been a week or so since I said I would post the rest of these. So sorry, but here you go. Here is a picture of Beloved's parents with all 8 grandchildren in the annual Christmas PJ pic. Although, Special K wasn't in hers. :-D Then it was on to my parents house where I got to see my sister. (2 times in a month...that's a record!) Since my Sister was in town we decided to go to the "White Princess Store" to search for Sweet E's flower girl dress. She had so much fun, but was frustrated because she couldn't take the dress home. Grandma had fun watching and holding Special K. Not the best smile from Sweet E, but it's still a cute picture. The newest happening is that Sweet E cut her hair. Enough that I had to cut about 5 inches or so off. Her beautiful long hair is now gone. I know it will grow back but it hadn't been cut in over 2 years. Oh well...let's just say her scissors are no longer left in her school box. She has to ask for ...

Still sick....

Image
Unfortunately we still have sickness in the house. Praise the Lord that Big T no longer has a fever and Sweet E (at this point) does not seem to be sick at all. Little E has a runny nose, but if that is the worst of it...that is fine with me. Beloved is slowly getting better, but he still feels pretty bad. And the antibiotics make his stomach hurt as well. Can't win either way. As for me...my head feels really stuffed up (pressure) and my sinus' hurt. I pray that this goes away very soon as we try to get everything ready for when the baby decides to arrive. It's so exciting to think we will have a new little person in the house very soon. Seems like it has been forever since we had a baby in the house. I still have a lot to learn with our new camera, but the children give me plenty of opportunities. They just love to ham it up for the camera....as you can see here with Sweet E. :-) Oh...and I have received a couple of packages this past week. I know you may not care, but I ...

More Camera Fun...

Still have a lot to learn on settings and such, but just wanted to share some more pics. :-)

New Camera!

Image
I can't even tell you how excited I am to have a new camera. Problem is......I need a lot of practice with it. This is what we have. It's a Nik*n s630. It's a point and shoot, but a more complicated point and shoot than our last one. This has many, many more features. Many of the photos I have taken have turned out blurry, but once I play around with it...change the settings, the flash, etc then it turns out okay. So it's a more complicated point and shoot than what I am used too, but I am just excited to have a good camera to capture soccer pictures and pictures of our new blessing due in about 3 1/2 weeks. So ....bear with me...here are a bunch of random photos I took yesterday. Like I said I still need a ton of practice, but I am getting there. :-) ( should add that I love the macro setting...our old camera couldn't take any pictures up close...they were all way too blurry and this has a 7 x zoom) I should say that.....No, the dark haired little boy is not my ch...

Big T's Big Day

Image
I wanted to share some pictures from Big T's birthday on Friday. He was able to start his day off with chocolate pancakes topped with peanut butter, syrup, and dinosaur sprinkles. Oh..and don't forget the BIG glass of milk. :-) Then he got a haircut and his new shirt...complete with #6. :-) I then, tried in vain, to get a decent birthday picture. He was too distracted by his siblings and my camera...let's just say that it only works half of the time now. So I am just happy if the thing even turns on! This is the best picture I got. I hope to try again this week. Right after we took this picture my parents showed up to spend the afternoon with Big T and the other children as well. I didn't realize until after I took this picture that Little E had placed a snake on Papaw's leg. LOL My parents gave Big T a ladder golf (or whatever it is called) game. We have had so much fun with it too! My parents even took us out to eat at Jake's. What a treat! Yummioso (as the c...
