Yes, once again I am way behind on updating this site. I know. Excuses....excuses. But we have had sickness go through the house the past month. First up are the cake pictures from Special K's birthday. I did a take on Sweet E's 1st birthday cake. Here is a picture of Sweet E and her 1st birthday cake. I made a gluten free yellow/chocolate layer cake so Beloved could join in. I was going for more fall colors, but I ended up with fluorescent instead. :-(  I have to say that Special K's cake did turn out nicer. But I had to start somewhere right? And she wasn't sure what to do with the candle either.  But she sure loved eating cake for the very first time! The Saturday after her birthday was the Upward Soccer Celebration. There was a bonfire, hayrides, face painting, corn hole, jump house, giant soccer balls, and the local college radio station was there too.  The announced each of the teams and the children received a nice Upward backpack.   The Little ...

I am so far behind on posting pictures, but I promised my sister I would get some soccer pictures up. The first soccer game was August 28 th , but Sweet E is the only one that I got pictures of. Big T and Little E played at the same time and since we coach Little E's team....pictures did not happen that day. :-( But I did make up for not getting any pictures of Big T this past Saturday. I promised to get a lot of pictures and I did. :-) Still don't have any of Little E though. Running around a soccer field with a camera in my pocket doesn't seem like the best idea. Big T and Sweet E both scored a goal in their games. I missed seeing Sweet E's goal but I did get to see Big T dribble the ball all the way down the field and score! At least I am not a month behind on posting pictures....right? :-) Big T's birthday happened to be the same day as the Easterday Reunion up at my BIL's house. So we took his cake up there to share with everyone. (I didn't want to make him wait for his cake) I am so glad that he liked his cake. I am curious what he will ask for next year though! Special K enjoyed playing inside Big T's tent. :-) Of course the pool was a big hit with all the children. :-) My SIL even started throwing water balloons. Little E thought that was great fun! You can even tell that their chickens are free range in this photo. See that feather? One of the many things Special K tried to put in her mouth. Yuck! Waiting for a ride on the four wheeler. Believe it or not I am still alive. I know alot of people are surprised since I am doing my best to heal up, take care of a newborn and the three older children. LOL But....trust me... I am not doing it alone. I have had a lot of help. Praise the Lord! Anyway, you know the first thing I have to show are some pictures of Baby K. She is just the sweetest thing ever! Just don't tell me other children that. LOL :-) My Grandpa and Step Grandma were able to come up to see Baby K (and the other children) on Sunday. I was so glad they were able to come. The family Christmas was Saturday but we couldn't go because of the Upward Soccer award presentation for the children. Anyway. as patiently as possible. My due date is this Wednesday. My children have never been early. So I am looking at anywhere from tomorrow the the beginning of next week. But I much prefer sooner than later. :-D Right now I am procrastinating on doing work....Why?! Why do I do this to myself? Bless the Schwartz girls for coming over and helping but the very next day you would never even know that they were here. I need to get my sewing room in order at least so people don't have to trip over things when they need to get upstairs. So...one more thing I want to do before I get to work.
