First Haircut

We may all still be sick, but last night was one to remember. I wanted to do something other than think about the family being ill. So, I decided it was time for Little E's first haircut. Now...from the front it didn't really look like he needed one. But as my sister's boyfriend says, "He looks like a miniature Terry Bradshaw." (because all is blond hair was around the back of his head.)
Anyway, I wanted to share some pics of the little guys first haircut. :D He is such a cutie pie. ;)
And while I am at it I just wanted to share some more cuteness. :D

He did NOT look like a miniature Terry Bradshaw. Elijah is cuteness personified! He didn't look too happy about the haircut, though. ;-)

They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. Last Saturday I had the chance to do something I had never done before. I put together a gingerbread house with my MIL and my children. My MIL made the gingerbread and then she had me help her assemble it and then decorate it. We didn't finish it all, but we hope to finish it this afternoon since she has the day off. Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before.
