Candy Anyone?

I had so much fun making this. It is a candy wreath for hubby's office door. These are pics of the wreath that hubby took with his camera phone after he hung it up at work. I tied a string to the wreath so when he got it hung up he could hang a pair of scissors from it. Them when someone wants a piece of candy all they have to do is cut it off the wreath. I think it turned out really cute for my first try. :D The last pic I just wanted to share. It is of some flowers that I bought for hubby over a week and a half ago and they still look great! :D

They have had so much fun with those...pretending to be knights, pirates, and soldiers. Well, hubby decided that he could make them just as well or better. So here is a finished sword made by hubby. (He actually ended up making seven!) Our local leather shop cut out the pieces for us which cut down on our work tremendously. Hopefully I can show off one that is much bigger soon. Last Saturday I had the chance to do something I had never done before. I put together a gingerbread house with my MIL and my children. My MIL made the gingerbread and then she had me help her assemble it and then decorate it. We didn't finish it all, but we hope to finish it this afternoon since she has the day off. Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before. We are thinking they may possibly be wild strawberries, but are unsure since we have no prior experience with them. (really have no clue as to what they actually are.)
