Show off some sewing!

I wanted to take time to show off the outfits I made for Big T and Little E that I mentioned the other day. When I was making the pants for Big T the whole time I was afraid that they might be too tight. They ended up almost 4 inches too big! He doesn't even have to undo the button and zipper to get them off....without a belt they fall down to his ankles. Oh well...it was my first time using the pattern. I will know next time to go down a size and go up a size in length. Little E's overalls are so cute too. I think the only thing I would change would be the length of the straps. Everything else seemed to be pretty good. :D

And I also thought I would show the fingertip mitts that I made for my sister. I think it is an Alexander Henry print. Aren't they cute? :D

I second that opinion, Jane! Melanie, you are doing a wonderful job with your sewing! Everything looks truly professional. (Sorry I never did call you back... I got distracted and forgot until I saw the pictures. However, I never would have been able to help you and it looks like you figured it out.) ;-)

this is my first visit to your site. Enjoyed seeing your sewing projects. What is it about that warm, brown corduroy? It just looks so cozy and comfortable. I love it. Your mitts are adorable. I need some new ones!
thanks for sharing.
