Show and Tell Friday (10/19)

Welcome to "Show and Tell Friday!" Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. A couple of weeks ago I showed a sword that my hubby made. I said I would eventually show the one he made for himself (So he could defend himself.) Well, I finally have pictures of it. So...here they are. He can easily defend himself from 2 children at once. Oh yes...if you liked the child's sword you can sign up for a chance to win one here.

Last week he attended Bible school and Grandma S' church. The theme was Avalanche Rance and I know there are a LOT of churches doing this one. It fit him perfectly since he has a love of horses. Illness and Ouchies

Well...we have had an interesting start to our week. In the early hours of Monday morning Sweet E woke up 2 different times and had thrown up in her bed. She seemed perfectly fine and I took her to a local store. We were inside for maybe 2 minutes and she threw up again. So....I got her home and let her take a nice LONG bath. Then we didn't have any problems the rest of the day. Today....she didn't seem quiet like herself, but no big deal. Them about 7:45 this evening she threw up again. But now she is running around like it never happened. Both boys appear to be fine. Now...here is were the Ouchies come in. On Monday afternoon when Sweet E was sleeping, Little E fell onto something. It took the top layer of the skin on his lip off and cut his gums. I still don't know what happened exactly. He had a pretty big lip for the rest of the day. The swelling is barely even noticeable today. So..how is everyone else's week going? ;)

Yesterday I was in our side yard raking up a pile of leaves for Sweet E to play in and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was bright red. I looked down and saw three bright red objects in the grass. I picked them up....I have never seen these before. We are thinking they may possibly be wild strawberries, but are unsure since we have no prior experience with them. (really have no clue as to what they actually are.)
