Show and Tell Friday (7/6)

Welcome to "Show and Tell Friday!" Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!

Okay...I am in a hurry today because we are getting ready to leave on a short trip to see family in Indiana. But since I showed a jumper I crocheted earlier this week I thought I would show a blanket I crocheted a while back. The pattern can be found here at Crochet Garden. I used some scraps, but I don't think it turned out half bad.

It's lovely! It makes me miss my grandmother -- she used to be crocheting something all the time, I never did learn but I so admire it when I see someone else's handiwork.

How talented you are! The blanket is beautiful.
I especially love the lacy border you crocheted on there. Such patience, one stitch at a time!

Beautiful colors! I admire anyone who does needle-art, I've never done it, doubt that I could!
