Staying Busy and Having Fun

Image
Can you say "Ouchie?!" Sweet E got a rope burn from playing tug of war. It was pretty bad for a few days. Then about a week or two later she bruised and scraped her neck. Poor girl is once again living up to her Tumbleina nickname. On to another subject. Special K had a great time riding in the wagon. Big T is such a great big brother. Sweet E even enjoyed a ride. :-) They are already the best of friends. :-) This is the pose she always gives me. Oh well, at least she smiles for the camera. Little E just finished his race in this picture. And more baby pictures...just because. Don't you just wanna squish her and give her lots of kisses? :-) I think she had enough of having her picture taken.

Trying to Cool Off

Image
It seems strange to post this right now. Why? Because it is currently raining...raining pretty hard too. But I just love these pictures so much that I thought if you are having rainy weather that these photos just might cheer you up. :-) I think they are pretty much self-explanatory. It was the first time for Special K to play in the Slip N Slide like that. Really only one picture of Little E because all he wanted to do was stand on the slide and get in the way. *ha-ha* Hope these make you smile. :-D She wasn't so sure about the puddle of water.

My Baby is Getting so Big!

I know Special K is 7 months old, but I just want her to stay little forever! Okay, not really. But I am loving on her as much as possible. I normally start the children on solid food right around 6 months, but I waited with Special K. I would have started her on food a week before the wedding and I would have had to haul extra stuff with us. So, I just waited until after we got back. Here are some pictures from her first taste of rice cereal. :-) She was happy at first. She wasn't so sure about it.... Then she seemed to like it. Then she wasn't so sure again She sure loves to eat now. So far Special K hasn't shown any signs of food allergies after a month. I pray it stays that way. :-) Another night in May the children and I went out to the retirement home to help my MIL (who is an activities director there) prepare a couple of spots in the courtyard for residents to plant tomatoes. But first I wanted to show this picture. The picture below happens every day at the retirem...

Mother's Day

Image
Yes, mother's day. I am that far behind in pictures. When I started the download tonight it said I had 460 pictures! I guess I got burnt out with pictures for a while since the wedding. :-) Oh well, here are the pictures from Mother's Day...almost a month late. Since my Daddy helped us to save money on parking Beloved and the children purchased a chair that I have been wanting for a long time. I envied my MIL's lounge chair and now I finally have one. :-) And the last thing I wanted to share was of Sweet E's Mother's day song. I think it's so cute. :-)

NY Trip Post #3

Image
Fair warning. This post is going to be super-duper picture heavy. :-) See...I warned you. But I didn't want to leave anything out. So... little background since I won't be posting a caption for every picture. These are from Friday the 7th. The day of the wedding. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. We woke up bright and early to head across the river to DUMBO so Sweet E could get her hair done with all the girls. She wasn't real sure what to think. She has never had her hair done up, or even cut, by someone other than me. She was a real trooper. The poor girl was so tired that all she wanted to do was lay down. We couldn't let her though because we were afraid of her hairdo falling down. (Which we had to fix twice anyway *roll eyes*). Oh well. :-) I thought these flip flops were great. The bridesmaids had black ones with their names on them. Breakfast with a hint of hairspray....yummy ;-) I just had to show this picture because (1) We have never seen Mom with this many...
