Here We Go Again!

I thought after potty training two in the last three years that the third time wouldn't be so hard. Yeah....someone should have smacked me upside the head. I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I was dreaming. I have had times where I wonder why I am even trying to do this and then I remember I have a new baby arriving in about 8 weeks. This would be my first chance to not have 2 in diapers. Then I smile thinking of only having to change diapers on one child and the money we will save. So with the Lord's help I am pushing on through. Sorry I haven't had pictures lately. My camera only works about 1/3 of the time now and when it does work I do my best to get pictures of our homeschool lessons and projects. So remember to check on over at our homeschool blog to see some updates there as well. So...I better head on over to update that blog and get to cleaning, organizing, decluttering, and potty training. I pray you all have a blessed week! :-)

Soccer Time

Last night was the first upward soccer practice for Big T, Sweet E, and even Beloved. Yes, Beloved is the coach of Sweet E's soccer team. Nothing like trying to teach seven 3/4 year olds. Big T had so much FUN. He can't wait until next practice. Poor guy has a hard time waiting a whole week. :-) Beloved did well coaching for the first time. I know it was a little overwhelming (the whole idea) for him at first, but in my opinion he did very well. Sweet E was the only girl for half of the practice, but she held her own and made some new friends that ...as she said...."that are girls." She loves it when she gets to play with other little girls. I don't have a lot of pictures yet, but I wanted to share the few that I have so far. Coach and his team (minus 1). A lovely little girl was a little late for practice. Big T and his partner practicing passing and dribbling. :-) The whole family is excited about next weeks practice. :-) And I will do my best to take more pictu

Big T's Big Day

I wanted to share some pictures from Big T's birthday on Friday. He was able to start his day off with chocolate pancakes topped with peanut butter, syrup, and dinosaur sprinkles. Oh..and don't forget the BIG glass of milk. :-) Then he got a haircut and his new shirt...complete with #6. :-) I then, tried in vain, to get a decent birthday picture. He was too distracted by his siblings and my camera...let's just say that it only works half of the time now. So I am just happy if the thing even turns on! This is the best picture I got. I hope to try again this week. Right after we took this picture my parents showed up to spend the afternoon with Big T and the other children as well. I didn't realize until after I took this picture that Little E had placed a snake on Papaw's leg. LOL My parents gave Big T a ladder golf (or whatever it is called) game. We have had so much fun with it too! My parents even took us out to eat at Jake's. What a treat! Yummioso (as the c

BIG T! I still can't believe that you are 6 years old today. The Lord has richly blessed us by allowing us to be your parents. (((HUGS and KISSES)))) From Mama and Papa.

Soccer Stuff

The children (Big T and Sweet E) are playing Upward Soccer this year. Since someone blessed us by paying for their registration we had the funds to purchase some soccer shoes. Let me tell you...they were so excited when the UPS man delivered their shoes today. The immediately ran upstairs to get socks so they could get their shoes on and go outside to try them out. And they just had to have their pics taken with their new shoes and soccer balls. :-) So I thought I might as well share them. LOL Big T asked to have his picture taken like this. ;-)
