Happy Anniversary!

Image
Oh my goodness! Where is my mind today. I almost forgot to wish my parents a happy anniversary! So...HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY! May the Lord bless you with many, many, more. :D ( These photos were taken at Malabar Farm this past fall. I can't believe I don't have a picture of the two of them together. I will have to resolve that. ;D)

Sometimes....

Image
Sometimes when I am trying to get a photo of the children many "unusable" ones are taken. I am so glad for a digital because I can take 50 photos and hope for at least one that I can use. :o) So...Little E asks, "What happened to the ones that didn't make the cut?" So here are some pics during the various photo sessions that didn't quite make the cut. :D

I can finally breath!

Image
Oh my, this past week has been so busy. I feel like I can finally take a breath now. As you all know Sweet E's birthday was yesterday, but I have a lot to catch up on. Sunday we had our church service and then the service at the Retirement Home. Afterwards we were blessed to have dinner with Beloved's family and have a small "pre-birthday" bash. :D Oh, and I stayed up until 2:30 Sunday Morning to finish Sweet E's dress for the day. What was I thinking! Oh well, at least she likes it and so did everyone else. This is what I had to stare at Saturday night. I love European patterns, but this is only my third time sewing something from Ottobre (You can find the link in my side bar) Anyway, this (see below) can be very intimidating when you want it ready for the next day. What you are looking at are pattern pieces for roughly 6 patterns. You just have to follow the colored outline for the pattern you want. Simple enough? ;o) Well, here is the finished product along wi

Happy Birthday Sweet E!

Image
Today is Sweet E's 3rd birthday. I can't believe she is that old already. And let me tell you...she is ALL GIRL! She absolutely loves anything PINK . :o) Lots more pics to come soon! Blessings to all on this glorious God-filled day. :D [Oh...and I am also going to count this for " Count your Blessings Monday ." And I think it is pretty obvious why. This little Lady has been such a blessing ever since she became a part of our lives. She has taught me so much. God has truly blessed me with her. She has quite the personality (and some of you know what I am talking about!) ]

Cracker...well, sort of ;o)

Sharing

Image
Oh my....I really need some mocha, but I thought I would share some photos first. I have been bad about showing them, but here are a few now. Just keep in mind that none of these are on the same day. :D The Saturday of the big snow storm Sweet E was running through the house. She caught her foot on a chair and then, when she fell, hit another chair and gave herself a nice black eye. (A few days later Big T got a black eye as well, but his didn't show up as much as hers.) Little E was enjoying carrying around Papa's lunch box. I thought it was pretty adorable. :) This is a photo of Sweet E enjoying her hummus. When I make hummus it doesn't last long. Everyone loves it! She was cleaning out what was left in the bowl. ;) Do you have a porcupine living in your house? You don't.....well you should get one. ;) Cabin Fever takes it's toll. ;o) Isn't he absolutely adorable!? These next to photos are of the children painting sun catchers for residents of a local Retirem

Count Your Blessings Monday (3/17)

Image
"I am giving us an opportunity every Monday to not only count our blessings, but to share them with others. This is a way that we can encourage one another. Make a post on your blog telling us about your blessing. Please put a link back to this post ( on her blog ). You can add the URL of your blog post on Mr. Linky below. Many of our blessings we will have pictures of and we can share those as well. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. They encourage others. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!! - Marci " Well, I feel terrible that I haven't taken time to take part of this time to share. Most of you know of the saga of the various illnesses that "plagued" our home for almost 2 months. As of right now, we are illness free (besides typical allergies). I am so grateful for this

It's Over!

Image
Well, we are supposed to get a little more tonight, but nothing to be concerned about. I thought I would share some more pictures. The first two are from yesterday. I went out and shoveled the walk and around the cars. I think attempted to clean off the tops of the vehicles and later that day hubby went out and did more shoveling around the vehicles in case we had to get out. The rest of the pictures and video are from today. It is quite beautiful outside. The sun is shining and it's not to cold. Hubby and the children piled up snow in the back yard and made tunnels through it. They had such a good time! Sorry about the videos. The camera doesn't know how to handle that much bright light reflecting of the snow. :D

13 inches....

And still coming down! At least that is what hubby got when he took a yard stick and measured a couple of places in the yard. Beloved and the two oldest attempted to be outside for a little while. Thought I would share some pictures and video...so beware, this is image heavy. ;) Oh, you may notice that the last two videos are reminiscent of this post . :) Seems Shad didn't forget. Only, Big T has gained weight and the snow is much deeper this time. ;o)
